*CCD=CCD image sensor "Super
HAD CCD Ⅱ" is a trademark of Sony Corporation. The "Super HAD
CCD Ⅱ" is a version of Sony's high performance CCD HAD
(Hole-Accumulation Diode) sensor with realized sensitivity (typical)
of 1000mV or more per 1µm2 (Color: F5.6/ BW: F8
in 1 s accumulation equivalent.)

Lens: Variable Focal
Length 4 mm ~ 9 mm with external adjusters (accessed via
hinged cover under front of Camera)
Automatic Iris with Potentiometer Level adjustment copes with High
levels of illumination with negligible smear, passes more light and
provides greater depth-of-field than ordinary fixed Iris Lenses.
Lens is corrected
for major Visible-Infrared focus shift.
There are no Accessory Lenses for this
Camera, additional CCTV Lens
information.
Scanning System: 2 : 1 Interlace, PAL
50 Hz vertical, 15 625 Hz horizontal.
Synchronisation: Internal.
Video
Outputs: 1.14 V p-p Composite Video 75 ohms, suit Australian TV,
VCR, AV & Video inputs, (1 Main) BNC socket, ~ 40 cm Cable
exits through Bracket for concealment and protection against
tampering. (2 Setup) BNC socket on ~ 10 cm Plug-In Cable
accessed via hinged cover under front
of Camera.
Horizontal Pixels: 720 + this value
is provided for comparative purposes only. Better than Super-VHS
resolution near DTV / DVD (720 pixel) resolution.
Sensitivity: ~ 0.5 lux @ F1.2 in
Night mode 10 IRE (this value is approximate and provided for
comparative purposes only), 0 lux with LEDs 'ON'. Depending on Lens
'focal length' setting the Infrared LEDs illuminate up to ~ 80% of
the Width-of-Vision and are effective up to ~ 40 metres depending on
the Infrared reflective characteristics of subject.
Light Emitting Diodes: Eighteen
Hi-Power ~ 850 nm wavelength Infrared, these produce a dull Red
visible glow. Automatic Light Sensor switches LEDs On/Off (~3/5 lux)
depending on light level.
Movable Infrared Optical Filter:
In Day mode (well lit, colour) mechanism
automatically positions IR-CUT optical filter between Lens
and Image Sensor to exclude Infrared radiation that would otherwise
adversely affect colour reproduction, this ensures
colour rendition not possible with ordinary non-filtered or
notch-filter type Day/Night cameras.
more
In Night mode (low light, monochrome)
mechanism automatically removes IR-CUT
optical filter to allow Infrared radiation to pass boosting low
light and Infrared sensitivity, the result is significantly better
night images using inbuilt
Infrared Illuminator or with Infrared rich
light sources.
Infrared Response
without Infrared filter is ~ 700 to ~
1100 nm better than a
'CCTV
notch IR Filter',
additional
CCTV Infrared Night Vision information.
Automatic Electronic Shutter (AES):
Switchable On/Off -
switch labelled "2",
Off (fixed) = 20 milliseconds, On (Automatic) 1/50 to 1/100 000
second. Use 20 ms shutter speed to minimise smear, smear increases
with increasing Shutter Speed,
additional
CCTV Automatic Electronic Shutter information.
Spectral Response:
~ 400
to ~ 1100 nm with Infrared 'CUT' Filter 'out' of optical path,
additional
CCTV Infrared Night Vision information.
Signal
to Noise ratio (SNR): 50 +dB, measured with AGC off.
Automatic Gain Control (AGC): Yes.
Back Light Compensation (BLC):
Switchable On/Off - switch labelled "1". BLC functions when both AES
& BLC are "On".
Gamma: 0.45.
White Balance (WB): Automatic
Tracking with Multi-Colour Temperature technology.
Power Requirements: 12 Volts DC
Regulated ~ 170/550 mA or 24 volts ac ~ 70/300 mA LEDs Off/On, via ~
40 cm Cable with stripped & tinned wires (Screw Terminal Block
included) exits through Bracket for concealment and protection
against tampering. Consider cable
resistance when installing, ask us about solutions if voltage drop
is a problem with existing wiring.
